0 Feb 03, 2012

Srijan LogoSrijan's logo had appeared in a German logo design magazine way back in 2003. An email stating an interest to find out the story behind the design of the logo came as a surprise, as the logo was deisgned and launched only a few months earlier.

Here's the PDF that the designer Ms. Sabine Hamman (if i remember the name correctly) had sent across for my verification and approval.

The key values that the logo had to reflect during its design were:

  1. Sharing
  2. Growth
  3. Integrity
  4. Enthusiasm / Freedom

You think this reflects in Srijan's logo?

Here's a Google translation of the document:

Example: Srijan Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

With this logo, which was developed by Shruti Sanganeria, the customer has taken a lot of time in order to be able to develop the bestmögliche logo in conjunction with its designer. Many DRAFTS were found discarded until the logo was endgültige.

Standing for the Company "integrity", "partnership", "growth", "movement" and "enthusiasm", and these things should reflect the logo. To bring these abstract ideas in a graphical form is certainly not easy. The client was initially a requirement that a circle and a tree in the logo should be used. This should give completeness by the circle people should receive and growth to be part of a great whole, integrity mediated by the tree.

In the design phase of three classically-style logos were presented with circles as a basic element of the customer and a logo with a tree.

3.8 Arrows and lines

The tree had to bear great resemblance to a symbol that Hindu priests. You draw three horizontal lines on the forehead with sandalwood as a symbol for the presence of God "Shiva". In the logo, a fourth line was inserted.

The customer opted for the now-tree logo, as it is not unlike the other was DESIGNED to be as fast over the years so long and boring, the company could repräsentieren-te. He identified himself with his geschäftlichen, ethical and intellectual-term values with the logo.

Shruti Sanganeria works with her husband, Param, who designed due to the base of the logo developed by Srijan Technologies website (www.srijan.co.in). The colors were taken up again and create a vivid impression of how the tree in the logo.
